Redania’s Most Wanted is a side quest in Novigrad in The Witcher 3.
Your task is to help Radovid look for Philippa Eilhart at her hideout.
Here’s a walkthrough of Redania’s Most Wanted in Witcher 3.
Suggested level: 12 and above.
Talk to the witch hunters
Firstly, head to the entrance of Philippa’s hideout. It’s near the Temerian hideout.
You’ll see some witch hunters. Talk to them.
Open Philippa’s hideout
Descend into the cave.
To open the hideout, examine the tile at the side of the wall. You can see it with your witcher senses.
Search Philippa’s hideout
Once you’re inside, you’ll have to go through a couple of portals.
You will also come across Nekkers (monsters). Take them out.
Continue going until you see a dead end. To activate the crystal for the portal, use Aard on it.
Meeting a witch hunter
You’ll then find a witch hunter after going through the portal.
Use delusion to get the crystal from him.
Now, head to the end and you’ll see that the portal needs to be activated.
Once again, place the crystal and use Aard to activate it. Go through the portal.
Continue the search
There’ll be more Nekkers here. Kill them all.
Next, use your witcher senses to look for clues.
Once again, the crystal is missing.
To look for the crystal, head down to the Nekker’s nest.
Kill the Nekkers and pick up the crystal.
Place the crystal again and use Aard to activate the portal.
(Mini Boss) – Kill the Ifrit
After the portal, you’ll have to face the mini boss Ifrit. Just dodge around him to avoid the attacks.
Search Philippa’s quarters
After defeating the Ifrit, go further and you’ll reach her quarters.
Search the area using witcher senses.
You’ll find a magescope crystal behind the pillar.
Go back out
Once you’re done examining the items, head back out through the portals.
On the way out, the witch hunters will interrogate you.
Should you give the megascope crystal to the witch hunters?
If you do give the crystal, the witch hunters will claim that they found it and you lose your reward.
If you choose “Not a thing” or “None of your business”, you’ll probably end up fighting them.
Kill the witch hunters if you chose not to give the crystal.
Talk to Radovid
Next, go back to Radovid who is at his ship in Oxenfurt.
To get to him, you need to talk to the Redanian soldier first.
Should you give the crystal to Radovid?
If you give the megascope crystal to Radovid, he’ll ask his imprisoned mages to find out what it’s about.
You will get paid over 100 crowns for this.
If you choose not to give the crystal, you can also hand it over to someone else (e.g. Yennefer or Triss).
If you want to give to Yennefer, do it before you meet Radovid.
That being said, it probably doesn’t matter much in terms of outcome who you give it to. You can even keep it. Radovid pays you though.
The quest ends here.
