La Cage Au Fou is a main quest in the Blood and Wine DLC of The Witcher 3.
Your task is to help Regis create a concoction to see where Dettlaff is.

Meet Regis
To begin the quest, meet Regis at the cemetery.
There are plenty of plant monsters at the cemetery. You may want to get rid of them first.
Enter the crypt
As the door is locked, you need to enter the crypt through another way. Use your witcher senses and you can see it.
Jump into the hole.
Inside, you’ll encounter some monsters.
Keep going until you see some boulders blocking. Use Aard to make a way.
Finally, you’ll see Regis in the hideout.
If you choose to drink with Regis, you can have a long conversation.
Optional – read the Bestiary
You can open your Bestiary and read what Spotted Wights are.
Look for the wight’s lair
Next, head to the wight’s lair.
You’ll see this big house. This wight was clearly cursed.
Search the lair
You’ll need to search the lair. Use your witcher senses to look for clues.
You can find a stained diary. Look for all the clues as they’ll help you unlock a branching option later.
Also, you’ll find a spoon key.
Once you’re done, go downstairs as that’s where the lair is.
Interact with the cauldron.
Hide in a place
To wait for the wight, you need to hide in the cupboard.
Attack the wight or try to lift the curse
This option is probably unlocked if you had discovered the crucial clues.
If you attack the wight, you’ll end up chasing after it and killing it for the salivary glands.
If you choose to lift the curse, Geralt will dine with the wight.
The correct option is eat, not using the spoon. If you choose other options, the wight will run and you’ll need to kill it.
Choosing the correct option will result in the wight’s curse being lifted. She’ll still run away.
It becomes optional to look for the wight and it will unlock a new quest if you do.
If you had chosen to attack it, or chose the wrong options, the wight runs and you’ll need to chase after it.
Kill it and get the salivary glands.
Report back to Regis
Head back to the cemetery to meet Regis.
Go to Tesham Mutna
Next, follow Regis to the secret vampire hideout.
Inside the place, while following Regis in, you can loot the items.
You’ll be able to find Tesham Mutna equipment.
Place bait
Once you’ve reached the torture chamber, place the bait at each of the tunnel.
Some of it may have wooden planks blocking. Use Aard to remove any blockages and place the bait for monsters.
Once you’re ready to fight, talk to Regis to begin.
Kill monsters under Regis turns into a monster
This part will be a wave of different monsters.
You’ll get some of the weaker ones first.
After some time, you’ll have to deal with stronger vampires like katakans.
Once the bloodlust is full, Geralt collects blood from Regis.
The quest ends after the cutscene where Geralt drinks the concoction and has a new lead on where Dettlaff may be.
