In Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH), you’re able to enter your friend’s island or a stranger’s island.
You can also accept visitors, be it friends or strangers, to your island.
Sometimes they may come to exchange furniture, recipes, fruits or perhaps to use facilities like Able Sisters or Nook’s Cranny.
So what can they take from your island? Here’s what visitors can grab from your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons (ACNH).
Dropped items
Generally, visitors should be able to take anything that’s dropped.
This includes furniture, DIY recipes, fruits and so on. It’s not the same as items placed on the island.
For e.g. if you place furniture around the island, they should not be able to grab them. If you drop the furniture (appear as leaf symbol) or other items, they can take them.
Before allowing visitors, remember to ensure you don’t leave important items dropped.
Shaking trees and planting trees
Visitors should be able to shake trees to get fruits. If you are afraid of that happening, only let people you trust into the island.
Also, they may be able to plant trees on your island.
Destroy flowers
It’s also possible for visitors to run over the flowers on your island and ruin them. They may also be able to pick them but not with a shovel.
You may want to warn any visitors prior to coming onto the island, or only allow friends to visit your island.
In a nutshell
Just be careful before letting anyone into your island. Don’t share your Dodo Code in public unless you’re certain.
