Warlords of New York, the DLC to Division 2, just launched today.
Here’s how you can begin playing the new DLC in Division 2.
If you have trouble updating The Division 2 to get the DLC after buying it, you may want to uninstall and re-download the file.
That’s what we did as we had the error of “not having enough disk space or no internet connection“.
Requirement to start playing
Before you can go to New York, you need to reach level 30 in the game. You can advance from level 30 to 40 in New York.
If you’re new to the game and you pre-ordered it, you should get the bonus to immediately start at level 30. That said, if you’re new, you should just play the base game first.
Speak with Casey Bell
Once you’re at level 30, speak with Casey Bell at the White House. She’s at the helicopter at the front entrance of the White House.
You’ll then be transported to New York and there are a few small story missions to do first.
Secure City Hall
Your first mission is to secure city hall from the operatives.
Take out all the Rikers with the agent’s help.
Inside the building, you’ll find some survivors. Kelso will attend to them while you continue securing the area.
Secure the basement
Go to the basement and kill the Rikers.
Recover surveillance footage
Next, look for the surveillance footage. Just follow the route.
Download the footage with the computer.
Secure the subway
Continue going to the subway to kill all the Rikers here.
Help Kelso
Once you’re done, head back to the ground and help Kelso secure the area.
Follow Kelso to Haven
Next, just follow Kelso to the Haven settlement.
There’ll be more enemies along the way. Clear the path.
Keep going until you reach the Haven entrance.
Next, you need to speak to Faye and Rhodes. They’re both in the room with the sign Rhodes on top.
