How To Find The Rebreather (Location)

The Forest is a fun survival horror game that can be played with many others or even alone.

One of the crucial items you need to find to complete the story and also find other items is the rebreather.

It’s basically a device that lets you breathe easily underwater, equipped with light.

Here’s how you can find the rebreather (location) in The Forest.

How to find the cave entrance for rebreather

The rebreather is located in one of the caves. Here’s how you can find the cave entrance.

First of all, look for the huge tree / old tree. Head towards southwestern side of the island and you should see this tree from far.

Get to the tree first.

From the tree, if you head down towards the beach and forest, you will see the anchor (image below).

Go towards the anchor and you’ll see a small blue tent nearby.

Stand in between the anchor and the blue tent. Walk straight from there, towards the forest.

Not long after, you will come across the cave entrance among some rocks.

Enter the cave and be prepared for some mutants. First of all, you should come across these wooden planks blocking the way.

Destroy them and continue going in.

Next, look for the rope that leads downwards. There will be two of these ropes going downwards.

Continue exploring the area and you’ll reach a part with water that requires diving.

The rebreather is located near the water and skeleton.
