Beasts Class is one of the main story quests in Hogwarts Legacy.
Your main objective is to attend the Beasts Class during the day.

The required level is 13.
The Beasts Classroom is located outside of Hogwarts.
Go to the marked spot to begin the quest.
Equip and use Beast Petting Brush
During the lesson, you will learn how to brush a pet. Equip the spell Beast Petting Brush and use it.
Equip and use Beast Feed
Next, equip Beast Feed on your spell menu. Use it on the pet.
Brush and feed a Kneazle
You will then need to use the same spells to brush and feed a Kneazle.
Talk to Professor Howin
Speak to Professor Howin after the lesson.
Follow Poppy
Then, talk to Poppy Sweeting.
Follow her as she wishes to introduce you to a beast.
You’ll then come across a Hippogriff.
You will need to bow before initiating contact.
Use the spells to feed and brush the Hippogriff. The quest ends here.
