The Helm of Urtkot is a main story quest available in Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to help Lodgok get the Helm of Urtkot.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of The Helm of Urtkot in Hogwarts Legacy.
The spell Depulso is a requirement for this quest.
Meet Sirona
Head to the Three Broomsticks to meet Sirona.
Meet Lodgok
Next, go to Hog’s Head Inn to find Lodgok. There’s also a page guide hidden here.
Help him to retrieve the relic.
Meet Lodgok near the witch’s tomb
Continue to follow the compass to Lodgok’s location as shown in the map.
You’ll meet him here.
Follow Lodgok
Next, follow Lodgok to the tomb’s entrance. You can run there and he’ll match your speed.
Search the tomb for the helmet
You will use Lumos and Depulso a lot in this tomb.
The objective is to find the helmet.
First of all, use Lumos to lure the butterfly.
Draw it to the door and stop Lumos.
Do the same thing for the next area. You’ll see two butterflies in the area.
For the third one, push open the other door with Depulso or Accio.
Take the third butterfly from inside.
Bring the butterfly back to the door so that it opens.
You’ll then meet Inferi here (undead skeletons). Defeat them all. Fire works well with them.
After you’re done, you will reach another puzzle area.
Attract one of the butterflies and place them at this spinning device.
You will notice that the third butterfly is on a higher platform above.
To get up there, use Depulso on the spinning device so that it moves.
When the device spins, a platform goes up. Use the platform.
Get the final butterfly from above.
Bring them all to the main door to open it.
In the next room, you’ll see a heavy object hanging. Cast a regular attack on it so that it drops down and forms a hole.
Before you go down, go to the door.
Blast the door open with Depulso.
You’ll find some chests in the next room. Use Accio to move the box below to allow you to jump above.
Now, get back to the hole and jump down into the water.
Follow the compass.
You will now encounter even more Inferi here. Take them out.
After the Inferi is gone, you’ll be left with the butterfly puzzle again. Place a butterfly on the spinning device.
Use Depulso twice on the device and ride the platform up.
You’ll see the main door and a butterfly. Attract the nearest butterfly to the door. You will need two more butterflies.
Now, use Depulso again and cross over to the other side to get the second butterfly. Bring it to the main door as well.
Then, jump back down and get the third and final butterfly from one of the sides. Place the butterfly on the device near the spinning device (image below).
The device is located just below the main door.
Use Depulso on the spinning device and use the platform to go back up.
This time, you’ll notice that the device also goes up when you use Depulso on the spinning device. Use Lumos and attract the butterfly before the device goes back down.
You’ll then be able to open the main door.
Investigate the body.
Return to Lodgok
The helmet has been taken. Exit the area from the hidden door behind the body.
Talk to Lodgok.
Recover the helmet from the thieves
Head to the campsite shown on the map to find the helmet. You’ll find them battling a forest troll.
Defeat them all.
Take the helmet from one of the chests inside a tent.
Return the helmet to Lodgok
More enemies will appear after you grab the helmet.
Make your way back to Lodgok to give the helmet.
The quest ends here.
