Venomous Revenge is a side quest in Hogsmeade of Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to help Ackley Barnes steal Lawley’s Venomous Tentacula.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Venomous Revenge in Hogwarts Legacy.
To begin the quest, head to the back of Three Broomsticks as shown in the map.
Talk to Ackley Barnes to begin.
He’ll ask you for help to steal a Tentacula. You can say you’re not comfortable but he’ll try to convince you to steal.
Enter the cellar
Head to the marked spot on the map and you’ll reach Lawley’s Cellar.
Find Lawley’s Venomous Tentacula
As soon as you enter, you’ll see Lawley. Use Disillusionment here.
You can’t get caught by him or you’ll fail the quest and have to restart.
When you see him, wait for him to go to the right side. You have to go through the left side.
Then, follow the path to the marked area.
You’ll come across some spiders. Just avoid them by heading to the left and go upstairs.
You’ll see Lawley’s Venomous Tentacula nearby. Collect it.
Return to Ackley Barnes
Exit the area using the same path. You’ll notice that Lawley is on the right side now.
This time, unlock the level 1 lock to avoid him.
Go back to Barnes to complete the quest.
You can either do it for free or ask to be paid which affects morality maybe. If you choose the kinder option, you’ll still get a new collection item.
