Merlin Trials are scattered all over the open world in Hogwarts Legacy and it’s basically very short puzzles.
There’s also a Merlin Trial just west of the small town Lower Hogsfield.
Here’s how you can solve the Merlin Trial in Lower Hogsfield in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to solve the Merlin Trial in Lower Hogsfield
When you reach the area, you’ll see the swirl as usual.
Place the Mallowsweet on it.
To solve the trial, you will see three platforms around the swirl with four holes in it each.
You will also see balls or marbles near each platform.
I used Wingardium Leviosa to move all of the balls to each platform.
Repeat the same thing for all three platforms and the Merlin Trial is over.
