Animals are an important part towards survival on the island in The Forest.
You’ll need them for food or for their skin to make all kinds of armor and items.
Here’s how you can find tortoises (location) in The Forest.
Tortoise location
You will be able to find tortoises towards the eastern side of the island.
The exact location has been circled on the map shown below. They will be around in the area.
Tortoises take a longer time to kill compared to turtles because they will hide in their shell after being attacked.
One way is to use arrows and go for the head or just burn them and they’ll immediately die.
