Chapter 4 of Somerville begins at the vehicle graveyard on the highway.
You will need to continue your journey to find your wife and kid.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of chapter 4 of Somerville.
Somerville – Chapter 4 walkthrough
You will begin at the vehicle graveyard. Go to the upside down vehicle and pull it down. Jump on it and cross over.
Open the van door and go through it.
Walk through the sign board and go down. Head to the left like usual.
You will see a person in a car. Go towards it.
The car will be destroyed by the alien. Head to the left. Use the ability on the circuit to get rid of the obstacle.
In the next area, run inside the tent to avoid the pink light.
After the light is gone, exit the tent from the left side.
In the next part, you’ll see a light bulb. Grab it and destroy the obstacle.
Move the light bulb towards the alien substance and use your ability to destroy it.
You will then get another longer cable with a light source. Use it to destroy the alien substance on the northern side.
Then, head to the long object and push it down. You have to either pull or push it for it to come down.
Now that it forms a bridge, grab the cable with you using the bridge so that you can reach the alien obstacle on the further side.
Destroy it and then climb on top of the vehicle.
In the next area, switch on the generator.
Then, grab the cables from the machine and connect it to the front of the car. Use your ability to convert the vehicle’s light to blue.
Proceed ahead. In the next area, the pink light will shine the whole time. Go under it using the shadow.
Then, climb on top of the vehicle and run into the portable toilet.
Wait for the light to disappear, and then head to the left.
In the next part, open the fence and you’ll see an alien cube inside it. Not sure what it does.
Continue towards the left. The pink light still shines here. Push the trash to open up a gap to go through.
Enter the tent and you’ll see an alien inside with red light. Avoid the red light or you’ll get killed immediately. Move behind the obstacles when the light is gone.
Make your way out of the tent and you’ll reach another area with pink light.
Use the umbrella canopies as shield.
Your aim is to get to the generator near the platform on the left. Turn it on.
The shutters will come down. Enter the area when it’s safe to do so.
Continue following the path. Push the trash bin away.
You will reach another area with light bulbs.
Carry the pole that connects the light bulbs and bring it all the way to the alien substances.
Use your ability while holding the pole to open up a path. Climb up the ladder.
Make your way to the top.
Then, turn on the lever for the electricity.
Go back down and use your ability to melt the alien obstacles.
Head to the left and from the left, you should be able to jump and slide down.
Open the portable toilet that is moving and you’ll free up alien cubes.
Now, head to the stage. Turn on the generator first.
While using the generator, use your ability to destroy some of the alien substances.
Then, you will see that the red cable can now be grabbed. Bring it to the device that is movable. Plug it in.
Use your ability and pull the device while doing so to destroy all of the obstacles.
You will then reach the stage. Spin the wheel to open the door.
In the next area, grab the red cable and bring it back.
Plug the red cable into the red port in the stage.
Then, use the lever and it functions as an elevator. Push up the elevator to go up.
Make your way up the stairs and you’ll eventually reach the top.
Jump onto the UFO. Pull all of the levers for the UFO to go down.
Now, push the UFO towards the exit.
Plug the red cable into the UFO. Push the UFO and use your ability at the same time to melt the obstacles.
After the UFO crashes, run away as a chase scene begins.
Keep running away from the alien and another strange character will rescue you.
Go to the big gate and wait for the big guy to help you open it.
This part requires his help for all of the gates.
At the end, you’ll fall down together with the big guy and the chapter ends here.
