How to earn $PIXEL
Basically, the top 7,000 players on the leaderboard (referral) based on points accumulated over two weeks will get a $PIXEL allocation. It’s basically the main token of the Pixels game.
Another way is to reach 3,000 points and enter a raffle. There will be 1,000 spots in the raffle, reserved for players that receive 3,000 points and above.
To earn points, you can accumulate badges. Each badge has a certain amount of points. Some badges are fixed once you achieve it, and some can be taken away if you no longer comply with the badge requirement.
The fixed ones are quests like Barney Barns, Grainbows 4eva, BBQ Fiend and so on. Those fixed quests give 250 points each.
For owners of the NFT (Farm Land), you’ll get 3,000 points per NFT but they cost thousands of dollars on the marketplace so it’s not a free option.
You should also aim to do the easy tasks like Tweet Interaction. It’ll be helpful for new players.
Some of the badges as mentioned above are not fixed. For e.g. the top 100, 1000 and 10,000 badges.
They give a ton of points but you’ll lose the badge if you lose your spot.
If you’re new to the game, you should try to get the fixed badges first and the easy interactions like the Tweet Interaction.
Also, it may be better to focus on one industry. For e.g. you can try to get into the top 10,000 spots for Grumpkin farmers or Lumberjack. They’re just examples and it’s based on your preference.

Additional points from quests
There’ll be more and more special quests where you can earn points.
The first one was from linking your Pixels account to your Twitter and retweeting the tweet mentioned on the Pixel’s account.
Puzzle Board
There’s also a new Puzzle Board for more points.
To get the Puzzle Board, go to the Pixels HQ building in Terravilla and talk to Tyler.
You can place your Puzzle Board on your land (either NFT land or “My Speck”) and slowly gather puzzle pieces to earn points.
Day 1’s puzzle piece is at the Decor Store. Pick it up from the ground and place it on your board.
Day 2’s puzzle piece is at the Carnival map.
For day 3’s puzzle piece, look for the NPC named Fitz as the top left corner of the map. Go behind him and go upwards until you’re teleported to a small corner of the map. You will then see the puzzle piece.
Day 4’s puzzle piece is at the Carnival map. Go just above the Ferris Wheel and you’ll see a “Cow Billboard”. The puzzle piece is on it.
For day 5’s puzzle piece, just grab it at the front of the Theatre in Terravilla.
Day 6’s puzzle piece is inside the Pet Store. Go to the top left corner inside the store.
Day 7’s puzzle piece is inside the Post Office.
For day 8’s puzzle piece, go to the Carnival map and head to the hot-air balloon area on the right side. South of the hot-air balloon, you’ll find the puzzle piece beside the NPC Jihoz.
Day 9’s puzzle piece is inside the Ministry of Innovation building in Terravilla. The piece is behind the Popberry Processor.
Day 10’s puzzle piece is behind the NPC named Elon inside Terravilla Bank.
For day 11, enter the HQ building in Terravilla and you’ll get the puzzle piece beside Heidi’s desk.
The final (day 12) puzzle piece is in the sauna, beside Luke.
