The Plight Of The House-Elf is a side quest available in Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to help Deek find his friend Tobbs at a spider cave.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of The Plight Of The House-Elf in Hogwarts Legacy.
The suggested level is 20.
To begin the quest, talk to Deek at the Room of Requirement.
Find the cave
The cave’s location is shown in the map below, north of Hogwarts.
When you arrive, you’ll encounter some spiders outside. Take them out.
Enter the cave to begin.
Search for Tobbs
Make your way into the cave following the path to search for Tobbs.
You’ll encounter a lot of spiders inside.
Use a fire spell to destroy webs blocking the path.
Continue to make your way deeper in the cave.
You’ll then come across more spiders to kill.
After clearing the area, look for Tobb’s Note suggesting he went deeper inside.
Continue to make your way deeper. Destroy the crates blocking the path.
You will then face a bigger spider named Acromantula.
After the battle, proceed ahead (image below).
You’ll reach some wooden planks blocking the path. Blast them open.
You will now see Tobbs who is already dead. Collect his note.
Leave the cave following a new path which will get you back near the entrance.
Return to Deek
Head back to Deek to tell him the news. The quest ends here.
