Tangled Web is a side quest in Hogsmeade of Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to help Crispin Dunne check on his friend Mary.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Tangled Web in Hogwarts Legacy.
To begin the quest, go to Three Broomsticks.
Talk to Crispin Dunne who is at the end of the bar.
Check on Mary Portman
Head south to the hamlet Aranshire as marked in the map below.
Protect the hamlet from spiders
When you arrive, you’ll come across many spiders. Take them out.
Find Mary
Enter Mary’s house and you’ll find her dead in a spider web.
Find the source of the infestation
Head outside her house and enter her cellar.
Search for the nest
After going down into the cellar, look around and you’ll find a ladder to go down further.
Destroy the egg sacs
There are 12 egg sacs in the whole area to destroy. Use Revelio to find them.
You’ll come across many spiders to kill while hunting for egg sacs.
Find the source of the eggs
Next, head to the marker to find the source of the eggs.
You’ll eventually reach an open area where you have to defeat The Insatiable Spider.
Return to Crispin Dunne
After you’re done, leave the cellar and return to Crispin Dunne at Three Broomsticks to complete the quest.
