‘Mer-ky’ Depths is a side quest available in Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to help Nerida Roberts retrieve a Mermish artefact from a cave.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Mer-ky Depths in Hogwarts Legacy.
To begin the quest, go to the Boathouse as marked in the map below.
Talk to Nerida Roberts to begin.
Find the Leaky Caves
From Nerida’s location, look towards the sea and you will see the marked spot where you have to dive in.
You can just swim all the way there.
Dive into the spot.
Find and collect Mermish artefact
After surfacing, you’ll see three butterflies. For two butterflies, you will need to use a fire spell to get rid of the spider web.
Then, use Lumos on each of the butterfly and bring them to the main door.
Stop Lumos at the door to allow the butterfly to rest on it.
Do the same for all three butterflies and the door will open.
You’ll find the Mermish artefact inside the chest.
Return to Nerida
Exit the cave and return to Nerida to complete the quest.
