In The Shadow Of The Relic is a relationship-type quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to find Sebastian in the catacomb to stop him.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of In The Shadow Of The Relic in Hogwarts Legacy.
The suggested level is 28. To get this quest, you may have to read the owl posts and be above level 27.
To begin the quest, talk to Ominis at the catacomb. The location is marked in the map below, in Feldcroft.
You will see Ominis and Anne talking. After she leaves, talk to Ominis.
Find Sebastian
Head inside the catacomb to find Sebastian.
Defeat the Inferi
As you’ve explored this area before, you just need to proceed forward. On the way, you’ll come across plenty of Inferi to defeat.
In the next room, more Inferi await.
Keep following the path forward.
Talk to Sebastian
You will then reach a room without stairs to go up and you can see Sebastian on the other side.
To build the stairs, pull the handles on the sides using Accio to release the skeletal remains.
Then, use Accio to pull the skeletal remains and build the bridge / stairs.
You have to drag the skeletal remains against the skeleton poles on each side of the bridge for it to work.
Talk to Sebastian.
Solomon will then show up to stop Sebastian and destroy the relic.
Defend yourself against Solomon
You will then need to defeat Solomon Sallow.
During the fight, Inferi will keep coming. The focus is to defeat Solomon as the Inferi may keep spawning anyway.
Once he loses, the fight stops. During the cutscene, Sebastian will then use Avada Kedavra against Solomon. Anne arrives and uses Depulso against Sebastian and Incendio against the Inferi.
She’ll then leave with Solomon.
Follow Sebastian
Follow Sebastian out of the catacomb.
Talk to him outside to complete the quest.
If you wish to learn Avada Kedavra, you need to tell Sebastian “everyone should know that spell” instead of going against him.
If you missed this you can still learn from Sebastian at the Undercroft immediately after. However, if you turn him in you won’t be able to learn anymore.
