Bounty: 9-Torg is the first bounty mission you’ll get in the game High on Life.
Your objective is to retrieve a knife and execute 9-Torg who is one of the bosses in the slums.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Bounty: 9-Torg in High on Life.
To begin, talk to Gene.
You’ll then need to press the bounty 5000 machine in the house.
Head to the slums
Use the waypoint info to get to the slums’ entrance.
You’ll see these two aliens who are controlling the gate.
They’ll ask you if blue or red is more attractive or none of them. I chose blue.
In the next part, you can choose red instead which will make blue angry with you. Regardless, red will open the door for you.
Explore the slums
Head inside the slums and just follow the path as you listen to dialogue.
You’ll meet an annoying boy at the end. Just jump over him.
Destroy the drones outside.
You’ll meet some ants at the slums. Kill them all.
Take out the ant goons
Follow the waypoint and you’ll meet more ant goons. Take them out.
Talk to the locals
To get information, talk to the guy who is fishing at the docks.
Find 9-Torg’s hideout
Continue to follow the waypoint.
You’ll then be taught on how to use the glob shot to shoot down certain walls to form platforms.
You can also aim the glob shot from afar and take down some ants at a distance.
Explore the Laundromat
Follow the waypoint until you reach the laundromat.
Inside, you’ll hear some ants talking.
Tell them you’re the buyer of the knife.
They will let you in to inspect the knife. Use it to stab both of them.
Escape with Knifey
With Knifey equipped, you can now use the fly to exit the area.
Get to Sludgewerks
Use the waypoint again and glob shots to form paths.
Take the Gatterall plants to obtain Gatterall. You can feed it into your gun to create more glob shots.
Use the cable to slide down.
Kill goons at Sludgewerks
At the bottom, you’ll find more ant goons to kill.
Take out 9-Torg
Once you’ve entered Sludgewerks, you’ll see 9-Torg and 5-Torg. The latter is caught and hung on a rope.
The fight is quite straightforward. Just keep shooting at her. The knife doesn’t seem to be that good for this fight. Use the crates as protection.
You can also use glob shot at her and when she’s in the air, keep shooting to keep her suspended in the air.
During the fight, she’ll jump into the acid and resurface a few times shooting laser at you.
Use the crates to hide behind the laser attack, or you can dodge the laser.
She will also cause the acid to rise up. You’ll then need to use the flies to move around in the air while the ground is all acid.
Do it continuously until you see that the ground is okay again. Rinse and repeat the same steps.
At the end when she’s taken out, you’ll have to rely on the flies again to stay above the acid.
After the battle, you can choose to leave 5-Torg here or also kill her.
If you kill her, the gun will congratulate you for maybe killing a secret boss.
Escape 9-Torg’s HQ
To leave the area, go to the big door and interact with it.
Check in with Gene
Go back to the house to complete the bounty. Knifey will ask you to stab him but I refused to do so. After you submit the bounty, the option to stab him seems to disappear.
