The Chi of Guyun is a World Quest available in Liyue in Genshin Impact.
Your task is to find out the secret of the dragon in Qingce Village.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Chi of Guyun in Genshin Impact.
To begin the quest, go to Wuwang Hill, Liyue. The exact location is shown in the map below, marked by the player location (blue).
You will find a girl named Yan’er here. Talk to her to start the quest.
Investigate the ruin
She’ll tell you about the secret of the dragon and the possibility of treasure. Go to the ruins marked on the map.
As you arrive, you will see a Ruin Hunter. Avoid the guard first.
Find the three dragon statues
To activate the monument the Ruin Hunter is guarding, you need to find three dragon statues.
If you look around the area, you will see three different areas with gigantic orange crystals (image below).
In each of those areas, you will find a dragon statue with a glowing orb in its mouth.
Press “start” on the statue.
Do the same thing for the other two statues. They are all located within the yellow circle on the map.
Get the fragment
After you’ve started all three statues, a treasure chest will drop near the Ruin Hunter.
Open the chest and get the fragment. You can ignore the monster.
Find someone who can read the fragment
After getting the fragment, go to the main part of Qingce Village. The location is provided in the map.
Here, you need to find someone who can decipher the fragment. If you ask any random person, they will ask you to meet Granny Ruoxin.
Talk to Granny Ruoxin
Her location is shown below, marked by the X.
Talk to her and she’ll ask you to find the other fragments. She will also give clues as to the location.
Go to the highest part of Qingce Village
One of the fragments is located at the peak of the mountain in this village.
The location is shown in the map below, marked by the player location within the red circle.
It’s quite a long climb up the mountain. As you reach the top, you will see many dragon statues.
Go to the middle and read the writing. It will tell you which statues to interact with.
You have to press “start” on four of the correct statues, i.e wind-swept ruin, snow-capped peak, adepti’s abode and city of Liyue.
Below are screenshots of all four of the correct answers.
Take the fragment
If you get all four right, the chest will drop.
Open it to get the fragment.
Find the Geo Statue
Next, you need to find the Geo Statue west of Qingce Village. The location is shown in the map below, marked by the player location within the red circle.
As you get here, you will see the writing again, with dragon statues surrounding it.
Read the incomplete writing to get hints on which statue to interact with first.
I have marked the correct order to press “start” on the statues, as shown in the image below.
If you get them right, the chest appears. Open to get the fragment.
Return to Ruoxin
After getting the two fragments, return to Ruoxin for her to decipher.
Reach the waterfall (vault)
Her next clue is the waterfall, as shown in the map below. It’s west of Qingce Village.
Beside the waterfall, there’s a small entrance to the vault.
Inside, you will see a dead Ruin Guard. Hit the guard / interact with it.
Then, go to the vault door. Observe the door using the action button.
Here, you need to place all three fragments to open the door.
Search the vault
After the door opens, go to the monument with the orange crystal.
Some Treasure Hoarders will ambush you. Defeat all of them first.
Start the challenge
After clearing the Treasure Hoarders, go back to the monument and press “start”.
You have to defeat five monsters and do it before the Qingce Cache is destroyed.
Basically, one Ruin Guard will spawn first.
After taking out the Ruin Guard, three more will come at the same time. As usual, aim at their cores to stun them.
The last monster is a Ruin Hunter which is more deadly.
Find the treasure
After defeating the five monsters, the next room will be unlocked. Enter and you’ll find many treasure chests, including one Luxurious Chest.
Return to Ruoxin
Go back to Ruoxin and tell her about your findings. The quest ends here.
