The Dead of Night is a main quest available in Final Fantasy XVI.
Your objective is to gather information about the Dominant’s whereabouts.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Dead of Night in Final Fantasy 16.
Speak with Quinten
Firstly, look for Quinten at the marked area in the map.
Talk to him. He is outside the building.
You will et a Hanged Man seal which gives you authority to question people here.
Gather information from the villagers
There are two villagers to talk to, both displayed on the map. Gather information from them.
Speak with Cid
Once you’re done, talk to Cid.
Speak with Quinten
Next, find Quinten again.
Make for Caer Norvent
When you’re ready, leave for Caer Norvent through the gate.
You’ll face some enemies along the way.
Once you reach the end, the Caer Norvent location will be displayed on the world map. Use it to fast travel.
The quest ends after reaching Caer Norvent.
