Lost In A Fog is a main quest under Final Fantasy XVI.
Your objective is to defeat the goblins to drive them away from the swamp.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Lost In A Fog in Final Fantasy 16.
Explore the area
After the quest begins, you just need to explore the area with Wade and Tyler. There will be potions to collect.
Defeat the goblins
You’ll then encounter your first group of goblins. Defeat them all.
Continue ahead by breaking down the planks.
Climb up the ladder.
From above, jump down and you’ll face even more goblins below.
Slay all of the goblins.
Defeat Gigas
Next, you’ll face your first mini boss named Gigas. He is sort of a troll-like monster.
Here, you’ll learn about staggering an enemy.
After the fight, you’ll gain Hard Leather Armlets and you can equip it in your inventory.
Chase after the goblin leader
Proceed ahead through the structure.
Keep going and you’ll see the goblin leader. Chase after him.
Finally, the goblin leader will find himself eaten by Molbor.
Defeat Molbor
You’ll now face Molbor which is basically Malboro in other Final Fantasy games.
Watch out for a few of the attacks. One of them is the breath attack which can be dodged by going beside him.
Molbor can also jump and slam the area which can be dodged by jumping away or moving further away.
During the fight, you’ll be taught to use cinematic takedown / evasion.
You have to press Square or R1 (depending if it’s an attack or dodge respectively) within a certain time period to activate it.
Also, you will stagger Molbor a couple of times during the fight. This is where you deal the most damage.
Make for Phoenix Gate
After Molbor is defeated, make your way towards Phoenix Gate using the world map.
The quest ends here and you’ll watch some cutscenes.
