Final Fantasy 16: Pride Quest Walkthrough & Guide

Pride is a main quest in the prologue of Final Fantasy XVI.

In this quest, you’ll play as Clive Rosfield who is the protagonist of the game. This is also set years before the war in the previous quest.

As soon as the quest begins, you’ll be introduced to younger Clive and Commander Murdoch.

Tutorial on combat

This part is a tutorial on combat. You’ll be taught on how to attack.

Then, you’ll learn how to use magic for ranged attacks.

You’ll also learn how to dodge, use Eikonic Feat to teleport towards the enemy and so on.

Finally, you’ll need to defeat Murdoch in a fight.

After the battle, you’ll watch a cutscene of the Archduke coming back.

You will also be taught on how to hold down L3 and let the animal instinct feature point you towards your objective.
