How To Make Monster Munchies: Dragon Quest Builders 2

In Dragon Quest Builders 2, you not only build things as the builder, but you can make friends with monsters too.

Only some of the monsters will indicate that they’re willing to make friends with you.

That said, you need to give them monster munchies or it won’t work.

Here’s how you can make monster munchies in DQ Builders 2.

How to make monster munchies

You will be introduced to monster munchies during your time in Skelkatraz, the monster equivalent of Alcatraz.

There, you’ll learn that you need dry grass and frogstool to make five monster munchies.

To make the same in the Isle of Awakening, just build a bonfire first.

Next, build a frying pan and place it on the bonfire as shown in the image below.

Once you have the frying pan, you can put two ingredients at one time. Just place the dry grass and frogstool together, and cook them.

You will get five portions of monster munchies per frying pan.

Frogstool is basically the pink spore you will find in most places. These ingredients are all pretty common.

And that’s how you craft monster munchies in DQ Builders 2.

Do note that not all monsters will make friends with you.

If it wishes to make friends, you will see the 30 seconds counting down on the monster. Give it the munchies and you’re done.
