Professor Garlick’s Assignment 2 is a quest you’ll come across in Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to grow and harvest Fluxweed, acquire and use all three combat plants and learn Flipendo.

Grow and harvest Fluxweed
To grow and harvest Fluxweed, you first need a large potting station.
You can go to Tomes and Scrolls to buy one.
It costs 1,000 coins for the potting table with a large pot.
Then, place the potting table in your Room of Requirement.
You will then need to buy Fluxweed Seed from The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade.
Plant the Fluxweed Seed in the Potting Table.
Acquire all three combat plants and use them simultaneously
Next, you need to get all three combat plants, i.e. Venomous Tentacula, Chomping Chinese Cabbage and Mandrake.
You should be able to buy all of them directly or their seeds at Dogweed and Deathcap. If you get their seeds, you need to plant them in the potting station.
Make sure you have one of each.
Then, go to an enemy and use all of the combat plants one after another as quickly as possible.
Return to Professor Garlick
Head back to Professor Garlick at the greenhouse.
Learn Flipendo
Finally, you’ll be able to learn the spell Flipendo.
Practise it on the training dummy if you wish to. The quest ends here.
