In Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll come across a puzzle at The Library Annex.
It’s sort of the bridge area between towers that you can see on the Hogwarts Map.

How to solve the puzzle at The Library Annex
When you reach the area, you will see four braziers on the bridge.
There’s also a manhole cover or a symbol on the ground. If you look closely, there are four symbols.
At each symbol, you will see a Roman numeral / number (I, II, III, IV) on it, indicating the answer.
To solve the puzzle, light all four braziers.
Interact with the symbol at the brazier to rotate the number. You will need to match the Roman numeral with the symbol according to the manhole cover.
Once you’re done, the manhole cover opens and you can use the ladder to go down.
Inside, you’ll find two chests.
