To Kill A Dominant is a main quest in the prologue of Final Fantasy XVI.
Your objective is to escape a battlefield between two Eikons.

As soon as the quest begins, you’ll watch a cutscene introducing Clive Rosfield.
There’ll also be an ongoing battle between two nations.
Follow the others
After the cutscene, follow the rest of your soldiers. It’s more of a movement tutorial.
In between, you’ll see more cutscenes. You’ll be introduced to the Titan dominant and some other characters.
During the war, the other side has a Shiva dominant.
You’ll then see a spectacular battle between the Titan and the Shiva Eikons.
Escape the area
After the cutscenes, leave the area amidst the falling rubbles.
The quest ends here.
