Into The Bliss is a main story mission in Far Cry: New Dawn involving Joseph.
Your task is to take a boat up north from New Eden to Joseph’s Sanctuary.
Here’s a walkthrough of Into The Bliss in Far Cry New Dawn.
The level of difficulty for this mission is level 2.
Reach the New Eden compound
The first thing you have to do is to get into New Eden’s compound (location in map below).
Get towards the front gate and a cutscene will load.
You are given a drink that is part of the ritual, before you can go to find Joseph at his sanctuary.
Captain will then pass out for a moment.
Talk to Ethan
You will wake up near the river with Ethan and Judge in front of you.
Talk to Ethan to begin the real mission.
Pick up the bow
You don’t have a choice but to use the bow. It comes with fire arrows and they are needed for this mission.
Drive the boat
Most of this mission happens on a boat.
You have to keep going north.
At one point, you have to pass a wall of Bliss.
Ignite the fire beacon
After going through that wall, you will get into a darker area.
You have to ignite the fire beacon shown on the marker.
As you approach the beacon, your health keeps going down due to the Bliss gas.
In order to stop the gas from hurting you, you need to ignite the fire beacon using your bow.
To pick the fire arrow, use R1 on the PS4 to change arrow type.
Stop the boat near the beacon and fire your arrow towards it.
Once the fire has lit, the Bliss will not damage your health.
Find a way to open the gate
You will reach a part where the gate is closed and you can’t go through.
Now, get off your boat and look for the watermill (image below).
Go towards it and pull the lever for the watermill to move.
Journey to the north
As the gate has opened, get back on your boat to continue your journey to the north. You may want to avoid the animals.
After some time, your HP keeps going down as you get closer to the fire beacon. Ignite the beacon once again.
You can hit the target from your boat.
Continue forward
After the fire beacon, go forward again.
You will have to ignite yet another fire beacon.
After lighting up the beacon, continue on your journey to the north.
Reach the New Eden gate
You will hit a closed gate once again. You need to get off your boat and head towards the yellow marker.
Ignite the fire beacon
There will be another fire beacon here for you to ignite. This time, it’s more tricky.
You will encounter a big pack of weird-looking wolves.
After igniting the beacon, kill all of the wolves (or run quickly).
Open the gate
Once the coast is clear, open the gate.
Get towards the watermill again and pull the lever for the gate to open.
However, the watermill will be stuck. Shoot the wooden plank that is obstructing the mill.
Journey to the north
Once the gate is open, get back on your boat and journey to the north.
You will have one last fire beacon to ignite.
This time, you would have reached a dead end. Ignite the fire beacon and you’re done.
The surrounding turns back to day time and the mission ‘Into the Bliss’ completes here. You have reached Joseph’s Sanctuary.
