Elixir Of Pain: WoW Classic Guide And Walkthrough

Elixir of Pain is a quest you will receive in Hillsbrad Foothills in Classic World of Warcraft (WoW).

Your task is to hunt mountain lions to get the 10 vials of mountain lion blood.

To unlock the quest, talk to Apothecary Lydon in Tarren Mill. You can also ask your team member to share it with you.

Where to find mountain lions

You can find many starving mountain lions just southwest of Tarren Mill.

The exact location is shown in the map below, marked by the player location.

You should see plenty of bears and lions in the area.

Just keep hunting starving mountain lions to get the blood. Bring 10 vials back.

Talk to Apothecary Lydon in Tarren Mill to complete the quest.

You will get some items as reward.

The next part of the quest is to feed Farmer Ray’s dog the elixir.

You can find the dog at the exact location shown in the map below, marked by the player location.

The dog should be in front of the building. Interact with it to complete the quest.

After Stanley takes the elixir, it turns into a wolf. You can kill it but there’s no additional reward.
