Cruise Control is the latest chapter in the Tokyo episode of World War Z.
Your task is to investigate the disturbance on the ship and eliminate the zekes.
Here’s a walkthrough of Cruise Control in World War Z.
Investigate the upper deck
You will begin the mission at the upper deck. Look for the door to enter into the ship’s interior.
Inside, get ready for the zekes to appear. Just follow the marker and anticipate zekes.
Some zekes will ambush you guys.
Head towards this area with a couple of elevators.
Reach the cargo deck
Now, head to the cargo deck. Interact with the button to call the lift.
When the door opens, there will be zekes inside. Take them out first.
Get to the next area
You will then reach this open space. The soldiers will be heading out to secure the area. Go to the opposite side as marked.
You will find a keypad. Use it to go to the next bay.
Close the gates
When you reach this place, there’ll be plenty of zekes. Kill them and at the same time, look for the control panels to close the gates.
There are 2 gates in total.
Interact with the control panel to close the first gate.
More zekes will appear, not only from the bottom but also from the small pathways on the walls.
Try to get out of the swarm and close the 2nd gate first.
Hold until gates are closed
Once the gates are closing, hold your position until they’re fully closed. A new swarm of zekes will appear.
You can use the mounted machine gun to clear most of them.
Reach stern of ship
Once the area is secure, get to the stern of the ship.
Find your way through the machine rooms
You will reach the machinery area first. Get through it and eliminate the zekes hiding inside.
You will then reach the elevator. Call it to come.
Once the door is open, kill the zekes inside the elevator and ride the elevator.
Reach stern of ship
After reaching the next floor, you will see this open area. Plenty of zekes here to kill.
Keep following the markers to go to the next area.
Jump down here.
Kill the zekes and head to the bottom floor.
Keep going until you reach this hallway. Keep going and clearing the zekes.
You will then reach the escalator. Walk up.
Finally, you’ll reach the last part of the mission (stern of ship). There will be soldiers there.
Prepare defenses
As usual, prepare your defenses for the incoming swarm.
There are autoturrets around the area. Personally, I found at least 3 of them.
Activate loudspeakers
Once you’re fully prepared, activate the loudspeakers using this device.
Eliminate the swarm
Lastly, just eliminate the swarm. There’s a mounted machine gun here that you can use.
Watch out for zekes from all sides of the ship. They can even come from behind.
Autoturrets would be useful for those areas.
After clearing the swarm, the mission ends.
