Capitol Building is a stronghold mission in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.
Your task is to assault the Capitol Building to recover the president’s briefcase.
Here’s a walkthrough of Capitol Building in The Division 2.
This mission is recommended for those level 30.
Talk to the civilian soldier
Your first objective is to talk to the civilian soldier outside the compound.
Reach the True Sons’ defensive position
Get inside the compound by climbing up this area.
Secure the grounds
You will now come across many hostiles along the way.
Secure the area by killing them quickly.
There’ll be heavily armored guards as usual.
If the ground turns red, it means a projectile is going to hit the ground. Run away if you’re targeted.
After killing the first line of defense, keep going ahead and eliminating the enemies.
Reach the terrace
Next, you have to reach the terrace. Use this door.
Secure the area
When inside, kill all of the enemies.
Reach the top of the terrace
After securing the area, get to the top of the terrace.
Walk up the stairs and get to this gate.
Breach the door
To get in the building, you have to breach the door. Use the laptop to activate the cannon.
It will then shoot at the door.
Reach the Statuary Hall
Once the door is opened, get in.
You have to get to the Statuary Hall.
Secure the hall
Once inside, you have to secure the area by killing the enemies.
Collect the briefcase
Once the area is secure, collect the briefcase on the table.
Secure the place
After grabbing the briefcase, you will be ambushed by more hostiles. Kill all of them.
Locate roof access
Once you’re done, locate roof access. Get to this door in the image below.
Keep going ahead and kill the enemies in the pathway.
Keep going until you reach this door below.
Secure House Chamber
You will find yourself in House Chamber. Secure the area.
Locate roof access
After securing the place, get to the roof. Climb up the platform.
Keep going up the stairs until you reach this door.
Secure the roof
You will now be at the rooftop. Secure the area.
You have to defeat the high ranking officers as well.
Trigger the flare
Once the area is secure, trigger the flare for the helicopter to come.
The heli will appear but it will be attacked by hostiles, so it leaves.
Reach the plaza
Now, get to the plaza to destroy the enemies.
Go through this corridor.
Keep going until you reach this entrance.
Secure the area
You have to secure the area by killing the hostiles.
Trigger override of first radar
Look for the radar and override it.
Stay within range of first radar
While overriding the radar, you need to stay within the dotted lines.
Kill the incoming hostiles while doing so.
Override second radar
Once the first is done, get to the second radar.
The enemies will get to the second radar before you do.
Kill them all.
Stay within range of second radar
Just like before, activate the radar, stay within the dotted lines and kill the enemies.
Wait for helicopter
Once the area is secure, wait for the helicopter to come.
You need to get to the zone to attach the briefcase for extraction.
Secure the plaza
After the heli leaves, secure the plaza.
Reach the front of the Capitol Building
After securing the place, get to the front of the main building.
Climb up the stairs and into the building.
Keep going ahead until you get out of the building.
The mission completes once you’re at the front of the building.
You should unlock World Tier 1 after this.
