The Unkindest Cut is a quest in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, continuing from Sins of the Past and before that Helping A Helper.

They all originate from the character Lykaon who happens to be a romance option in the game.

Here’s a short walkthrough on The Unkindest Cut in AC Odyssey.

The recommended level for this character quest is 14.

Look for the bandit camp

The objectives of this quest are to find Praxithea the oracle and free her from the bandits.

She’s located at the exact spot in the map below, right above the words Sacred Lands of Apollo.

She’s captive in a place called Farmhouse. Just follow the map and you will reach in no time.

There are a couple of bandits here, maybe five at most. Just kill all of them and you’re done with it. These bandits should be level 14 as well.

They are mostly melee with one arrow dude. There is also a treasure box here for looting.

Free Praxithea from the cage and she will run to a certain spot. Just follow her until she stops and you can talk to her to complete the quest.

Lykaon will appear in the cutscene and you have to make certain decisions in the conversation (spare her or fight).

And that’s about it. I chose to spare her life and gained this Helm of Prophecy plus some Drachmae.
