Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Test Of Character (Walkthrough)

Test of Character is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey involving the goddess Athena.

Your task is to help a pirate either defeat some soldiers or help him gather materials.

Here’s a walkthrough of Test of Character in AC Odyssey.

This quest is recommended for level 47 and above, but it differs according to your own level.

Talk to the man on the beach

To begin the quest, talk to a man on the beach. His location is shown in the map below, marked as the quest symbol.

It’s probably in Megaris.

You should see this guy here with an unfinished boat.

Talk to him and during the cutscene, you need to choose which way you will help him.

You can either fight soldiers or find supplies for him. Personally, I chose to fight the soldiers.

If you had chosen the other option, I can’t help you with that.

The location of the soldiers are shown in the map below. They are on the Isle of Salamis and you have to get there by boat or by swimming.

As you arrive, you should see some soldiers at the beach.

Kill all of the soldiers there. There should be a couple of them and some will use poison arrows.

Once you’re done, get back to the captain where you first met him. His location is shown below.

Talk to him and he will thank you. Get back to the woman.

Get back to the mysterious lady at the statue. Her location is shown in the map below.

I chose the first option “I killed soldiers to help the pirates”.

The quest completes here and you will earn 1000 drachmae and some iron metal.
