Written in Stone is one of the support quests in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, relating to the quest The Priests of Asklepios.
This quest involves you walking around the sanctuary with one of the priests to learn about Myrrine.
Here’s a short walkthrough of the quest Written in Stone in AC Odyssey.
It’s a mandatory quest which is part of the main Odyssey story.
Talk to the old priest
The first thing to do is to talk to the old priest. After the conversation, he will bring you around the sanctuary to look at tablets.
You need to remember the dialogue between the two, as there will be questions later in another conversation. Another priest will spot the two of you talking and ask questions.
The dialogue should include something about dogs healing wounds by licking on his / her face, among other things.
All of the priests are supposedly not allowed to tell anything to the misthios.
After the dialogue where you’re questioned about certain tablets, the old priest will ask to meet at the Olive Tree of Herakles.
Go to the Olive Tree
The exact location of this tree of Herakles is shown in the screenshot below. It’s pretty close to the sanctuary.
When you’ve reached the place, talk to the old priest.
You will be ambushed by the other priest and his guards. Kill all of them.
And that’s about it. The quest pretty much ends after killing all of the ambushers. Unless of course there was a bug on my end.
Hopefully this walkthrough has been helpful for you guys.
