Takes Drachmae to Make Drachmae is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on the island of Kythera.

Your task is to find the treasure based on a treasure map someone sells to you.

Here’s a walkthrough of Take Drachmae to Make Drachmae in AC Odyssey.

This quest is recommended for those level 42 and above, but it may differ according to your own level.

To begin this quest, talk to a man in Kythera Island at Aphrodite’s Watch. His exact location is shown in the map below.

Purchase the map

You will see him standing there.

Talk to him and he will attempt to sell a map to you for 1,000 drachmae.

Purchase it to continue. You can get the money back.

Now, get to Diakofti Island at the eastern side of Kythera. The exact location is shown in the map below.

As you arrive, you’ll notice that the chest is empty.

Get back to the merchant who sold you the map. You can find him at the exact same spot as before.

Once again, the location is shown below.

He will then say that you can’t read the map properly. The quest completes here, but you can chase after him to get your money back.

Keep running until you meet a group of soldiers who in the first place probably asked the merchant to sell the fake map.

Kill all of them, including the merchant. Loot the merchant and you will get 2,000 drachmae instead of just 1,000.

And that’s it for this quest. They might be cultists as well.
