Perikles’ Symposium is one of the main quests in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and it is unlocked after you’ve done three side quests given by Perikles.
You have to head to Perikles’ Residence which is located in Athens to gather information on Myrrine.
Here’s a walkthrough of the Perikles’ Symposium quest in AC Odyssey.
The recommended level for this quest is 16.
Locate Perikles’ home
The first objective is to find Perikles and you can do so in his residence. The exact location of the place is as shown in the screenshot below.
It’s in the southern part of Greater Athens.
You should see a couple of guards in the entrance. Talk to the guard and he will let you in although he may joke with you at first.
Once you’ve gotten into the residence, talk to Herodotos. He will then introduce you to various people in the party, and most of these people are well known Athenian scholars.
To get leads on Myrrine, you will then have to do two side quests, both located inside the residence.
Drink Up support quest
This is the first support quest you can do. You need to talk to Sophokles who is in the kitchen.
Once you’ve talked to him, he will instruct you to ask Euripides instead by getting the latter drunk.
You will need to get a sweet wine from the slave in the kitchen. In the conversation, you have to choose the right wine out of two options.
There’s also oil beside the slave and you should get it first. That oil is needed in the other support quest.
Once you’ve gotten the aged wine, go and talk to Euripides and his friend. The conversation may be a little long but there’s nothing else you need to do here.
After Euripides is drunk, talk to Sophokles and the quest completes.
He should give you one clue which will become a quest on its own.
Oil and Love support quest
The next support quest to do is Oil and Love which is a really short quest.
Just look for Alkibiades and he’s locked in a room. It’s pretty much a more perverse dialogue so all you need to do is hand over the oil and you’re done.
He will let you know of another clue.
And that’s it for support or side quests. There should also be a cutscene right after where Aspasia walks in and gives you the third clue in conversation.
Once you’re done, you can choose to walk around or leave the compound.
If you talk to these two below again, you will be asked to sing a song, which is basically just dialogue choices.
You will get 100 drachmae when it ends.
Once you have done everything you needed to do, you can talk to Phoibe at the exit.
And when you’ve exited the place, the quest completes, giving you some decent XP.
After Perikles’ Symposium, you should get three branching quests to find clues on Myrrine.
