Happiness is a Warm Spaceship is a side quest on Groundbreaker in The Outer Worlds.
Your task is to help Junlei salvage parts for the radiator from the old machinery.
Here’s a walkthrough of Happiness Is A Warm Spaceship in The Outer Worlds.
To begin the side quest, speak with Junlei at the engineering department of Groundbreaker.
Head to the back bays
To find the parts, go to the back bays. The location of the elevator is shown below, marked by the player location.
Use the elevator to reach the back bays.
Talk to the captain
Once you’re down here, you will see some hostiles. Speak to the captain to avoid bloodshed if possible.
During the conversation, you can either persuade or intimidate him.
In the second part, you can either bribe him or lie to him. You will need 40 points to lie.
Otherwise, you’ll probably have to kill him and his crew.
If you don’t have the necessary skills or you wish to avoid bribing him, just kill him.
Look for the parts
You will find the parts upstairs on your left.
If you take the stairs, you can open the door using lockpicking if you have the materials.
The materials can be bought from the Spacer’s Choice store or by looting. The best way is by taking the alternative route.
The other route is the ladder.
Climb up the ladder and keep going. You will reach this space where you can crouch beneath it.
Enter the room and pick up the parts.
Return to Junlei
Go back to the engineering department to speak with Junlei.
Go to the terminal
She’ll ask for your help to fix the radiator.
Go towards the end of the engineering department. On your right, you will see an elevator. Use it.
You will come across Mantis in the area. Kill them all.
Follow the route until you come across some mechanical sentries and other drones. Take them out as well.
After clearing out the mechanical sentries / drones, you should reach the terminal.
Use the terminal
You will need to use the Fluid Circulation Pump Terminal and activate the cycling protocol.
Return to Junlei
Once you’re done, speak to Junlei again to complete the quest.
