Rise and Grind is a side mission in Borderlands 3 that starts in Promethea.
Your task is to get Commander Lorelei her coffee from the barista robot at Rise and Grind.
Here’s a walkthrough of Rise And Grind in Borderlands 3.
To begin the mission, talk to Lorelei at the Watershed Base.
Go to Rise and Grind
Your first objective is to head to the coffee shop within Meridian Metroplex.
The name is clearly visible.
Request service
Order a coffee by pressing on the button in front of the shop.
The bot will be unable to make coffee as the building lacks power.
Kill Core Daddy
To look for a core, kill Core Daddy. His location is shown in the map below.
Inside, you’ll meet a couple of heavily armored enemies apart from Core Daddy. Take them all out.
It’s easier to use your vehicle’s weapon to kill them, since your vehicle can be parked at the entrance.
Once Core Daddy is dead, pick up his Power Core.
Insert power core
Go back to Rise and Grind, and insert the power core.
Next, press the button in front of the shop again to reboot the building.
Find Maliwan commander
After the power is restored, the bot claims that it needs a cup.
A Maliwan commander happens to have a coffee cup. Head to the location shown in the map.
To get the commander to show up, keep killing his minions.
The Maliwan commander won’t appear, but his runner who carries the cup will appear.
After two or three waves, the runner will appear. Kill him to get the cup.
You can use your vehicle parked outside to kill most of the mobs.
Pick up the coffee cup.
Defend Rise and Grind
Go back to the coffee shop. You will be attacked by the Maliwan forces once you reach the shop.
Take them all out.
Place the coffee cup
Once the place is secure, put the cup at the designated location.
The bot will start pouring coffee.
Bring coffee to Lorelei
Go back to Lorelei at the base to hand over the cup.
Defend the base
After giving the cup, the base will be attacked by the Maliwan again.
Kill them all. This time, you’ll have some Atlas forces on your side.
Kill the Maliwan commander
The commander will appear as well. Take him out.
The mission completes after you speak to Lorelei.
