Find Hope is the second mission in Far Cry: New Dawn before Part 1 begins.
Your task is to follow Carmina back to the home base called Prosperity where her mother resides.
Here’s a walkthrough of Find Hope in Far Cry New Dawn.
The difficulty level for this mission is only 1.
Reach Hope County
After the fall in the previous mission, you will wake up seeing Carmina. She’s one of the good people.
Apparently she rescued you in the river.
The main objective here is to get to Hope County, which is where the Prosperity Home Base is.
Just walk forward. There aren’t any threats yet. Look into some of the abandoned houses for items or materials.
Keep going along the water stream.
Reach the mine
As the Highwaymen had blocked the road that leads to Hope County, you need to find or craft some weapons at the mine.
These weapons are required to take down the Highwaymen.
Get to the mine pointed out by the beacon. You will get to this building which looks white and red from the outside.
As you enter and find the work bench, you can access the weapon crafting area.
You will need some ingredients to craft a weapon.
Find components and duct tape
You will need 40 components and 40 duct tapes in total. You probably would have found some on the way here.
In any case, you can find enough components and duct tapes within the building itself.
There’s one hiding inside a cell. Just destroy the lock and get in.
These components and duct tapes are normally quite hidden.
There’s one right outside as well.
If you get to the highest place, you’ll also find them on the wood.
You should look around the outside of the building too.
Once you’ve looted at least 40 of each ingredient, get back to the work bench.
You can only craft one item here, i.e. the Saw Launcher.
Reach the bridge
After looting whatever you want to loot, go towards the bridge. Be prepared as you’ll see Highwaymen here.
There are two men at first, and you can use the Saw Launcher to kill them in one hit.
As you walk across the bridge, there’ll be plenty of men.
It’s easy to get killed, so try to eliminate them as soon as possible.
After killing the men, you can loot their weapons. Some are carrying shotguns but you need to get rid of the Saw Launcher if you wish to pick up the shotgun.
There’s also a dog inside the cage. If you release it, it will attack you. Kill it and gain some animal skin.
Reach the tunnel
After you’re done here, get to the tunnel right in front of you. There’s a door inside. Open it.
From this part it’s mainly cutscenes.
You will then reach Hope County.
Carmina gets reunited with her mother and other villages.
You will then be introduced to the Prosperity base and more features in this game.
