The Lightning Bringer is a new side quest in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey involving Steropes.
Your task is to defeat Steropes who is a cyclops and this quest is available as a bounty. This quest was introduced quite recently in an update.

This quest is recommended for those level 45 and above, and it’s available as a bounty.
You can also get some orichalcum ores if you kill Steropes.
Find Steropes
You can find the cyclops on the island of Andros. The exact location of this cyclops is shown in the map below, marked as the quest symbol.
It’s called the Bay of Nobody and as you get there, you will see him hiding in a cave.
Kill Steropes
Your only objective is to defeat Steropes.
He uses his club a lot and can easily hit you if you’re near him. Try dodging his attacks as they’re quite predictable.
Steropes also uses some AoE attacks. You may get hit by the waves on the water even if you’re behind him.
He also uses one attack where he can create a long-range wave towards you if you keep a distance.
Just dodge and hit him. Using skills like Overpower helps in the match.
Rinse and repeat and he’s dead.
Once Steropes is dead, you can loot the Steropes Bow from him and gain 44,550 XP.
That’s it for this quest. It’s a much easier fight than initially expected, even easier than the Kalydonian or Erymanthian Boars.
