Quarry Quandary is one of the side quests in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey given by Myrrine herself.
Your role is to find Euneas (Myrrine’s admiral) who was taken captive by the Paros soldiers, and bring him back.
Here’s a brief walkthrough of Quarry Quandary in AC Odyssey.
The recommended level for this quest is level 24.
Disclaimer: This is the only quest I’ve actually failed so far, but the steps to rescuing him is still the same.
Find Euneas’ ship
The first thing you need to do is to find Euneas’ ship. Go to Paros island, the island just west of Naxos.
You can take the Adrestia there.
It’s only a short distance to the island.
Once you’re there, you should see his ship that’s already destroyed. You can find a soldier right below the ship’s remains.
Talk to him and he’ll tell you that Euneas has been taken.
Go to the Fortified Marble Quarry
The next objective is to look for Euneas as the Fortified Marble Quarry just located nearby. I may have forgotten to take a screenshot of the map for the exact location.
Just look for the fort symbol in the map. It shouldn’t be far as the island is small.
Euneas is in one of the cages right at the top of the quarry.
To succeed in this quest, you need to bring him back. I failed because I brought him along to clear the entire base and he was killed.
To prevent that from happening, you can clear the base first, or just sneak him out. Get to the quarry from the top to be safe.
Fortified Marble Quarry Objectives
This particular location has plenty of objectives.
There are three captains, three war supplies, three captives including Euneas and five treasure loots.
There’s a treasure chest and a war supply inside one of these enclosures.
This is why Euneas died. He tagged along. The quest failed and it couldn’t be repeated unless you load an earlier game.
