Welcome To Athens is one of the main quests in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and it’s unlocked after the quest Memories Awoken.
The recommended level is 15 and the task is to reach Attika. You can either take the ship there or go there through land.
Here’s a brief walkthrough of the quest Welcome To Athens in AC Odyssey.
You journey to find Perikles to warn him about the cultists of Kosmos making a move against him.
He can be found at the city of Athens but first you need to go to Attika to activate the next objective.
Locate Attika on the map
Your first objective is to reach Attika and the exact location is shown in the screenshot below.
You can either take the Adrastia there or even go there by horse. Personally, I fast traveled to Megaris and took a horse to Attika.
It was about 2,000 to 3,000 meters away from Megaris. Regardless, this quest is simple and only takes patience.
Once you have reached Attika, Herodotos will ask to meet at the Pnyx in Athens.
Locate Pnyx in Athens
This is the second objective and the location of the Pnyx is as shown in the image below.
When you’ve reached, there should be a cutscene of Perikles with the people of Athens. After that, talk to him and you’re pretty much done.
The quest completes and you get a level 15 sandals plus some drachmae as reward. You will then be tasked with three side quests before you can meet him again.
You have to complete the following side quests:
- Escape From Athens
And that’s about it.
