What Kept Me Going is a story mission by Sarah Whitaker in Days Gone.
Your task is to bring Sarah over Thielsen Pass to look for a DNA synthesizer.
Here’s a walkthrough of What Kept Me Going in Days Gone.
Talk to Sarah
To begin the mission, meet Sarah at her tent.
As you get there, a cutscene will load. The colonel caught Deacon and Sarah going out, and he agrees to let her leave to find an equipment.
Ride to the Thielsen Pass
Bring Sarah to the Thielsen Pass. Be careful not to hit any pole or structure while riding fast. She’ll die if that happens and you’ll have to restart from the checkpoint.
Keep going until you reach this snowy area.
A cutscene will then load, where a low ranking officer stops anyone from leaving.
Sarah of course had clearance. After the cutscene, you don’t need to control Deacon’s riding as it’s automatic.
Ride north to Cloverdale
Next, you’ll reach the tunnel. Push the vehicle away with Sarah.
Once the path is clear, get on your bike and continue going to Cloverdale.
It’s where Sarah used to work before all of this happened.
A couple of cutscenes will load and a new mission will automatically start after this.
