One of the ingredients that you can make in your farm in Stardew Valley is none other than cheese.
You may need it as a cooking ingredient for one of your dishes, or you may want to give it to the folks.
Here’s how you can make cheese in Stardew Valley.
Build a cheese press
One of the items you need to make cheese is a cheese press.
You should unlock the recipe to craft this quite early on. It doesn’t take too high a level of farming.
To craft a cheese press, you need 45 wood, 45 stone, 10 hardwood and 1 copper bar.
Wood, stone and copper are easily available. For hardwood, you need to have a steel axe at the very least, as you need to chop down the huge tree barks.
You can find these tree barks in your farm.
Get a cow or a goat
Once you have a cheese press, you need to find milk.
The best way to get milk is by rearing cows and/or goats.
Cow’s milk will give you regular cheese, and goat’s milk will give you goat’s cheese.
To milk the cow or goat, they need to have first grown up a little. Use the bucket to milk them manually every day (or if you’re rich, you can get the auto grabber – 25,000g each).
Once you have milk, put it inside the cheese presser. It should only take a couple of hours at most to get the cheese ready.
Each regular cheese will give you 125 energy and 50 health. You can use it yourself, give it to others or sell them away.
