Friends In Very Low Places is a mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 given by Trelawny.
This mission can be done after you’ve saved Trelawny from the previous mission. Your role is to rob a wagon with him.
Here’s a walkthrough of Friends In Very Low Places in RDR 2.
To start the mission, talk to Trelawny in the campsite.
He will tell you that he has a post office friend who knows which wagon is worth robbing for the money.
Go to the Rhodes’ post office
Grab your horse and follow Trelawny to the post office in the town of Rhodes.
You can hitch your horse in front of the station.
Let Trelawny talk to his friend first who works in the post office. Keep your distance in the beginning.
There’ll be a cutscene where the postman tells you about a wagon that’s coming soon and packs quite a bit of money.
He seems to know all of the richer wagons and he has a friend in Strawberry who can help as well.
If you plan to stop by Strawberry, you should see his friend to get more potential robbery information.
Wait for the coach (wagon)
Take your horse and ride with Trelawny to where the coach is passing through. Wait there for awhile and it will come.
Trelawny will talk to the lady in the coach. You just have to follow behind but keep a distance so as to not get spotted.
Steal the money in the safe
Wait for the woman to come out first. There’ll be a guard looking around but he will walk away once the woman comes out.
Stealthily go to the back of the coach and crack open the safe. Loot the money inside.
Once you’ve grabbed the cash, walk away quietly undetected.
And that’s it. The coach will leave without knowing that the money has been stolen. The mission completes here.
If you wish to get a perfect score, you need to:
- Complete the mission without being spotted
- Complete within 8 minutes 10 seconds
