How To Build A Petting Zoo: Dragon Quest Builders 2 Wiki

Once you’ve completed the main story in Dragon Quest Builders 2, you can start focusing on more tablet targets.

Completing each of these targets will grant you a mini-medal each time. The mini-medal is used to exchange items and tools with the Hairy Hermit.

One of the rooms you need to build is a petting zoo. Here’s how you can build a petting zoo in DQ Builders 2.

If you look at the tablet target, you simply need to place an animal house beside a playful park.

Build an animal house

First thing to do is to build the animal house.

As usual, just construct a room 2 blocks high equipped with a door.

Place the following items inside:

You can put more of the same items inside if you have many animals.

Once the animal house is ready, build a playful park beside it. Connect them with a door.

You need the following:

wooden fencing (ignore the walls in the image below as I used the wrong material initially)

I constructed the walls wrongly at first. It should be made from wooden pole fencing (2-blocks high).

Once you’ve used wooden poles as the walls, you can put two benches inside it.

Also, you need two flowers.

One way is to use the flower pots. Use the gloves and grab any two flowers and place them into the pots.

Next, you need a tree. You can use an acorn seed to grow a tree.

Once it has grown, put a swing beside it to make a tree swing.

Once all the items are inside, you need to seal the walls with a door. Even though it’s a park, you still need a door.

Below is what a completed playful park looks like.

As for the wooden planks on the floor, I’m not certain if they’re needed. You can put at least 2 of them if you wish to be certain.

Once you have both the animal house and playful park done, join them with a door.
