Beyond The Veil is a main quest in the Torment of Hades DLC in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Your aim is to find a set of armor (5 in total) that allows you to walk through the Veil.
Here’s a walkthrough of Beyond The Veil and how to get the armor of the Fallen set in AC Odyssey.
This quest is recommended for those level 60 and above, but it differs according to your own level.
How to get Gauntlets of the Fallen
The first armor piece would be the gauntlets of the Fallen. This one is actually part of a quest.
You have to do the side quest which leads you to Elpenor first – A New Lease on Death (wiki).
After finishing that quest, you’ll be led to this quest – Arms of Atonement (wiki).
After completing this quest, you’ll get the Gauntlets of the Fallen.
How to get Helmet of the Fallen
The next one should be on your map already. To get the helmet, you need to defeat the Poisoner of Athens.
The exact location of this Fallen is shown in the map below, in the Mourning Fields.
The entire place is quite toxic and is filled with snakes.
This Fallen isn’t too difficult as long as you can avoid getting poisoned by his hits.
After confirming the kill, you’ll get a Helmet of the Fallen, some drachmae and also a note.
Defeating this Fallen will lead you to another.
How to get Waistband of the Fallen
The next one is the waistband. You can get it by defeating Epiktetos the Forthcoming. His exact location is shown in the map below, and it’s the most southern area of the map.
This Fallen is inside Orphis Lair. To find the lair, look for the huge tree with a gigantic dead snake on it.
You will then see a big hole under the tree. Jump into it.
Keep exploring the lair and you’ll eventually meet Epiktetos.
You can easily defeat him by repeating some of your best skills.
After he dies, you’ll get the Waistband of the Fallen and some other stuff.
How to get Boots of the Fallen
After Epiktetos, you need to get the boots. This Fallen (Deianeira) is located in the Chasm of Torment, at the exact location shown in the map below.
You should see her standing around the huge pillars.
This Fallen is harder because she’s accompanied by Astra, another pretty tough warrior.
Although you only need to kill Deianeira, you’ll probably end up killing Astra as well.
After killing her, you’ll get the Boots of the Fallen.
How to get Chestplate of the Fallen
The last one is the chestplate. You can get it from Swordfish, but his location is unlocked via a quest.
You have to do the Death before Dishonor quest and Swordfish’s location will be shown in the map below.
He is in the Village of the Condemned. Kill him and you’ll get the chestplate.
