Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a sandbox game infused with a linear story. Once you’ve finished the story, you can continue building as you wish.
There are also tablet targets for you to accomplish, usually by building rooms. One of the rooms you can build is a hotel.
Here’s how you can build a hotel in Dragon Quest Builders 2.
If you check the details on building a hotel, you’ll be told that you simply require a basic bedroom with a reception room.
Build a basic bedroom
First thing to do is to construct a room with walls two-blocks high, together with a door as usual.
A basic bedroom only requires 2 beds and a light source. Use simple beds and the light source is flexible.
Remember to have at least 2 beds. If you wish to make it fancier you can add decorative items like the floor rug and brazier lights.
Build a reception room
Once the bedroom is done, build a reception room connected to it. Just connect them with a door.
You need to have two tables at least. One is to put a light source (candlestick / candle).
The other table is to put a stationery. You can craft them all at the workbench.
Once you’re done, put a wall hanging in the room.
The item is called “wall hanging”, not just any wall decoration. However, some have said that some decorations like curtains may work.
Once you’ve completed both rooms side-by-side and they’re connected by a door, the hotel is ready.
And that’s how you build a hotel in DQ Builders 2.
