Cache in the Castle is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
Your objective is to help Arthur Plummly solve the treasure map.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Cache in the Castle in Hogwarts Legacy.
To begin the quest, talk to Arthur Plummly.
You will then receive a treasure map with three pictures.
One is the rhinoceros skeleton display, the second one is the statue at the Transfiguration Courtyard and the third is a painting near the second.
How to find the treasure
First of all, look for the rhino skeleton.
From Arthur’s location, just use the stairs and keep descending. You’ll reach the rhino skeleton on display.
Next, head to the Transfiguration Courtyard and you’ll see the second statue in the middle.
Using the map, look behind the statue and walk towards the end. You’ll reach a door. Use it.
From the door, keep going towards the end where a smaller statue is.
Then, use your compass and head up the stairs from there.
You’ll eventually reach the big painting of a snowy house.
To activate the painting, you’ll notice a symbol on the frame. In the treasure map, it says use Accio (hand symbol) on it.
Use Accio on the symbol.
The painting should move and you’ll see a path.
Enter and get the chest. You’ll obtain an Authentic Historian’s Uniform.
Return to Arthur
Meet Arthur again to complete the quest.
