Head Case is a side mission in Borderlands 3 that begins at Ascension Buff.
Your task is to get into the head to collect memory fragments and rescue Vic.
Here’s a walkthrough of Head Case in Borderlands 3.
To begin the quest, get to the Holy Broadcast Center. The head is near where you fought Mouthpiece (boss).
Take the head
After accepting the quest, grab the head.
Plug head in
Next, go to the location shown in the map below.
Plug the head into the device.
Once the head is in, start the simulation using the machine.
Collect memory fragments
There are four memory fragments you need to collect. All of them are displayed on the map as shown below.
These fragments are inside the small chests.
Even though you’re in a simulation, there are plenty of COV baddies to clear.
Keep going forward towards the broadcast center building and claim the memory fragments along the way.
The other two fragments are inside the building itself, as shown in the map.
Rescue Vic
Vic is located upstairs in the building. Talk to her.
Kill the interrogator
After meeting Vic, the interrogator and some mobs will appear. Kill them all.
Exit simulation
Once you’re done, go back to the machine where you began simulation. Exit the simulation using the machine again.
The mission completes after you talk to Vic.
