Hammerlocked is a main mission that you will receive once you’re done with Promethea in Borderlands 3.
Your task is to help Wainwright rescue Hammerlock and defeat the boss Warden.
Here’s a walkthrough of Hammerlocked in Borderlands 3.
This mission is recommended for level 20 and above.
Head to Eden-6
Your first objective is to go to Eden-6. Select the destination using the controller.
Use drop pod
To go to the planet for the first time, head to the bottom of the Sanctuary and use the drop pod.
Meet Wainwright
After landing at Floormoor Basin, you have to meet Wainwright. The location on the map will be updated as you go.
Grab the vehicle and head towards the location.
You will then reach an area where you can’t ride anymore. Get down and kill the enemies.
Kill COV enemies
There will be COV enemies right outside of Wainwright’s place. Take them all out.
You will then be introduced to Wainwright Jakobs.
Enter the building and talk to him.
Meet Meatballs
Your next objective is to meet Meatballs. You need to get to the elevator as shown in the map.
Use the lever to go down.
Once you’re down, grab the vehicle at Catch-A-Ride. Shoot through the first barrier you see.
Go all the way until you reach The Anvil.
Open the gate
Once you’re inside, you will be greeted by plenty of enemies. Take them all out.
Your objective is to open the gate but you have to clear the way first.
Before you head to the gate, there’s a way to the side where you can find one Eridian writing.
Once you’re ready, use the button to open the gate.
You will then be introduced to Meatballs who is also known as Brick. He is pure brute force.
Clear yard of COV
Together with Brick, kill all of the COV enemies in the yard.
Talk to Brick
After the fight, talk to Brick.
Meet Crunk Bunny
Your next objective is to meet the demolition expert Crunk Bunny.
Follow Brick.
Along the way, you have to kill the attackers inside the building.
Defeat ambush attackers
Once you reach the stadium-like area, you will be ambushed by attackers. Take them all out.
Find Crunk Bunny
Once the area is secure, Brick will open the door for you.
Get inside and you’ll meet Tina – Crunk Bunny.
Talk to her to proceed.
Find toppings
Your next objective is to find ingredients for the bomb Tina’s making.
You have to collect ‘sauce’, ‘onion slices’ and ‘ham’. Get to the location shown in the map.
You have to go through the yard. Clear the area first.
Head to the Central Security for the ‘pizza toppings’.
Get to the location on your radar. You will see a smaller room with an enemy inside.
Kill him and you’ll get your ham.
Pick up the ham from the body.
Next, head towards the onion slices location.
The onion slices is on the desk.
Lastly, go towards the final location on your map. From the onion slices, just follow the route in front of you.
The route will bring you to the control room. You will be able to access the controls to open the doors if you jump from the top.
Open the door and go through the new path.
You will come across a room with many boxes. One of them will give you the sauce.
Return toppings to Tina
Get back to Tina’s location.
Give the toppings to her.
She’ll make the bomb. Take the completed bomb from her.
Deliver ‘pizza’
You now have to head to the Bird Man to deliver the ‘pizza’.
After you open the door, you will find a couple of high level enemies. Kill them all.
Go through the door and you’ll be introduced to Bird Man and his pet Talon.
Clear bridge
At the bridge, kill all of the enemies along the way.
Place bomb
You have to deliver the ‘pizza’ / place the bomb at the door.
To detonate it, you can just shoot from afar.
Rescue Hammerlock / Defeat Warden (boss)
Before you jump down to rescue Hammerlock, you should be prepared as it’s a boss fight.
You will be introduced to the Warden.
This boss doesn’t do much fancy moves as he’s mostly on guns and brute strength.
He does have a pretty thick shield (yellow bar) that’s hard to bring down.
Hide behind the obstacles to avoid his barrage of bullets and whatnot. The annoying part is probably his minions trying to attack you at the same time.
After he reaches a certain health, he will charge (and jump) towards you constantly instead of just shooting at you.
You just have to avoid his charges and do as much damage as you can to beat him.
Free Hammerlock
After the fight, collect all of the loot. Then, free Hammerlock by shooting at the chain holding the cell.
Talk to him.
The mission completes here. You’ll get cash and a new weapon.
