Don’t Bite The Sun is a companion quest by Parvati in Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds.
Your task is to get Parvati prepared for her date with Junlei Tennyson.
Here’s a walkthrough of Don’t Bite The Sun in The Outer Worlds.
The first thing you need to buy for Parvati is soap.
You can get it in Groundbreaker.
Head over to Rest N Go to look for Gladys.
Ask Gladys for soap and she’ll provide it for you.
After getting the soap, give it to Parvati. You can choose whichever scent you like.
Get a sweetheart cake
Your next objective is to get a sweetheart cake. You can find it in Cascadia on Monarch.
The building has a couple of marauders inside. Clear them all first.
Look for the Sweetheart Cake beside the terminal.
Get a casserole
Next, head over to Chef Raymond who is in Stellar Bay on Monarch. His location is shown in the map below, marked by the objective.
Talk to him to get him to cook.
You can get a casserole from him for 3,000 bits or you can intimidate to lower the price.
After intimidation, the price is only 2,000 bits.
Talk to Parvati
After getting the cake and the casserole, talk to Parvati again.
She’ll then ask for new clothes for her date. You’ll need to go to Byzantium.
Buy clothes for Parvati
Head over to Byzantium. The Byzantium Navkey is given by Phineas.
Go to Celeste’s shop.
Tell her about Parvati going on a date.
Instead of paying 6,000 bits, you can lower the price by persuading her.
The final price is only 3,000 bits.
Hand over the clothes to Parvati.
Speak to Parvati on the ship
To continue, head back to the Unreliable and talk to Parvati.
She’ll ask you to land on Groundbreaker.
Once your ship is on Groundbreaker’s landing pad, speak to Parvati again and she’ll meet up with Junlei.
Check on the date
Next, check on Parvati and Junlei who’s having a date in the kitchen of the ship.
Leave the ship after checking on them.
Speak to Parvati again
After some time, go back to the ship to speak to Parvati and ask her about the date.
The quest completes here. You’ll get about 2,500 bits and a picture of Junlei and Parvati.
